Are you going to refund those of us with Intel HD integrated graphics chip machines? We backed this game in early access, and we deserve either a definitive answer as to when the game engine supports these machines or when we get a refund.

I want to play the game I purchased.

I agree. I played this game during early access and had no problems but now can't. Black screen only and so called fixes haven't worked.

ErissN6 -> RE: Fix or refund my money (5/10/2017 8:43:50 AM)

Didn't they wrote that Intel chips were not supported? Okay, they said not but they didn't said never, but letting hope is not a promise.
If you want to play you have to wait, maybe always...
I wonder why you bought, and moreover why you ask a refund, as you agreed the risk that you might never be able to play.
But that's your right, you can always ask.

I was able to play as well until the latest update before the release as I now get the blackscreen as well. I would like a fix for this and don't understand why they can't. I would at the very least like an explanation of why they can't and or why it is taking so long

Same here. Was able to play in early access, now not.

zakblood -> RE: Fix or refund my money (5/11/2017 5:30:51 PM)

the problem is, and isn't just for some game, but more than a few tbh, Intel's lack of support for some of the updates

quote:

Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 200 series or equivalent are not supported
Intel cards are not supported
DirectX Version: 9.0c

Integrated graphics refer to a GPU (graphics processing unit) that's literally part of the motherboard, integrated at the silicon level, whereas discrete graphics, more powerful in nature, use a slot-in board to connect up to a motherboard, support comes from the API
quote:

(a set of functions and procedures that allow the creation of applications which access the features or data of an operating system, application, or other service.)

while it was noted some worked fine in the beta process, as soon as the engine or code or both got updated to a later version, support for older tech was no longer possible, that's not to say some won't work either, but there's no guarantee or support as pointed on now on the games product page .

a low cost solution would be to add in a cheap 1 GB vga card, making the game work and helping out in all the others you own, while this isn't much of a solution for laptops, but even that is doable

neither are cheap solutions for laptops, best and cheaper would be buy a new one with the correct hardware i'm sorry and ashamed to say[:(]

but as i'm only a forum member like yourself, that's my advice and take on it, others eg the developers may have a different opinion or answer so maybe wait and see what they have to say first[&:]

All your points regarding the beta of this game are surely valid.

However, I cannot imagine my gaming life without a fairly modern widescreen desktop - no less having only an integrated graphics card to play with. If you only play games on the road, then that is a different story of course.
