anglonorman -> Possible Mistake in US Armor TOE 1943? (7/21/2017 9:44:10 PM)

I have been playing the Sicily scenario to get up to speed with the game and I noticed that on the U.S. Armoured Division TOE they have listed the M4A3 Sherman. If my memory serves the U.S. did not use the M4A3 in Europe until the fall of 1944. For Sicily and Italy U.S. Armored forces used the M4, and M4A1, the first one having the welded hull the latter the cast armour hull. The M4A3 that was deployed by the U.S. Army in Europe in the fall of 1944 was the Wet stowage version (ammo stored in liquid containers to prevent fire and explosion) and designated M4A3(75)W while the earlier versions mentioned were of the "dry" variety. The M4A3 "dry" was used by the U.S. but only initially in the states for training purposes. It was designated as M4A3 Sherman. As I understand, some were eventually sent over at the beginning of 1945 to replace the heavy losses suffered during the Bulge offensive along with replacement M4A3(75)W, M4A3(76)W and the new M4A3(76)W "Easy Eight" which was just hitting the tank depots and being parceled out to the various armoured divisions that had fought in the battle.
