1942 April 19 In Tracker we see today a message about DD Mikazuki "Sunk by unknown device 0 at 65,177 near Kingscote". 65,177 is the hex I highlighted, Kingscote is on Kangaroo Island in the upper right. I am not sure how Tracker handles FOW but I understand it is generally more accurate than in-game reports.

The thing I've noticed is that enemy ship sunk messages appear in Tracker one day before they appear in the reports, so I expect to receive the identical message next turn. Even FOW should be related to something and there was no action at all in that area. Must have been a raider like you said. I didn't think of a collision; I was wondering if the ship ran out of fuel.

That ship is off in a remote corner so it is possible your opponent overlooked it and forgot to order it back - but the Ops Report does give a message that "TF ### is out of fuel at (hex coordinates) XXX,YYY". Anyone who ignores reading the Ops Report every turn does so at their peril!

There is a lot of mis-identification on the named plane sightings. Can't really go by it. Perusing the sigint might give some clues, and I guess this particular Allied player is excellent at that. He has the tools![:D]

Adding: You don't know what they see, you only get an idea of the quality and consistency of the noted sightings of your unit. Sometimes the enemy knows you are there but you have no indication of that. In other words, there is still FOW.
