Actually, including the supply and maintenance units would be beneficial.

Maintenance units have capabilities in the game as they can clear "wrecks".

Supply units.. well, that may be for a future supply remodeling.

Not yet, no, focused on Vietnam at the moment, but still working on it in my spare time.

Ode to XXX in Middle East were done by Alan Arvold, he worked over them for a while, as there were quite a few boardgames he wanted to tribute. We haven't touched bases on any Vietnam boardgame conversions yet, but I know Alan prefers to work with a relase version of a game, and not the constantly evolving BETAs we have at the moment, so those will likely come after the CS Vietnam is out. If that was what you were asking

I was asking about the Ode games and if they're in the game now as separate scenarios or a campaign. Sorry about not being clear.

I believe with the latest update, the Ode scenarios are part of the main game instead of a MOD as they were before.

Crossroads can confirm.

new order of battle for Iranian cavalry company.

Armored personal carrier can be change to BMP-1 or BTR-60.That is the most accurate as I found! for 1981

thanks, hard to find accurate information in this area!

Do you have any official information regarding to Iraqi platoon and company ( tank and mechanized infantry)in 1980? as I searched tank battalion with 40 tanks was common in that era!

any official information?

Alas, I don't have any official Iraqi or Iranian sources. Most of what I have is based on second hand information/accounts.

one question?

we have British TOE in main game, how much is that accurate? I think it shall be base on British staff officer handbook of 1985 or 1989.
do you have that source as a pdf files? actually I need TOE for armored regiments, mechanized and armored infantry battalion on that era.

Yes , I saw it before , every things is clear for me expected the TOE of Armored infantry battalion and its variants during 1980 1989.


All documents referred to Source: 1985 &1988 SOHB but unfortunately I cant find that.As you sent some picture from Armored and Recce organization in previous post , it will be great to have this table for armored infantry with warrior and with FV432.

after final study we shall put this accounts for mechanized infantry battalion for Iranian oob:

PMP bridge truck : 4
Armored personnel carrier : 33truck type (BTR-50 M113A1 BMP-1 ) + 14 Wheel Type BTR-60
120mm mortar in M113: 4
Tow missile team with M113 : 6
106mm gun mounted in jeep : 8
88mm mortar : 9xpcs
Truck recovery : 5 x pcs

The riffle are G3 . AT are 57x RPG-7 and 9 x dragoon missiles per battalions.
