ORIGINAL: larryfulkerson I discovered that the Objectives for D21 don't extend to Berlin at all and that only a short game is possible. No problem, so I'm going to restart and play it again. I've been keeping up with the AAR's about D21 and I'm impressed and I'm going to try some of that myself. With special attention to the railroad engieers and their progress. Hey Larry. I am not sure what you mean that the objectives do not extend to Berlin. They do. There are different objective tracks for various stages of the campaign and for the Soviets Track 3 is the final path for the Soviets. I also have a slightly updated version correcting more stuff that I will email you a little later if you want to use that version. Thanks. Yeah, I DO want to use the updated version. I'll wait for it. And about the tracks: Yeah, Steve explained a little bit of it ( below ) and it makes sense and I just didn't know about the events that handle the track(s) switch(ing). The last game I was playing was an anomoly anyway. quote:

I discovered that the Objectives for D21 don't extend to Berlin at all and that only a short game is possible. D21 uses all 5 Objective Tracks for the Soviet PO. Depending on the situation any one of the 5 might be active, and all 5 have different Objective Lines. If you switch to the Soviet side you can change the Objective Tracks thru Elmer Assist and see how they are all set up. Edit: lol, Rick beat me to the answer [:)] And the track being used is handled by events....I get it now. Cool, great design for this bad boy. I had no idea. Maybe a short note in the scenario briefing explaining this might be useful to the player. Thanks for the info.
