First Computer Wargame? Around the same time, I think it was 1981 or 1982, I received as presents two SSI games - The Warp Factor and Southern Command. The first due to my parents' knowledge of my enjoyment of all things Star Trek and the second because I already had a few tabletop wargames (pretty sure my first one was the original Squad Leader) and showed a lot of interest in them. I tried The Warp Factor first, which I loved (it was kind of like Starfleet Battles for the computer), then I played a lot of Southern Command (which led me to make sure I got all of Roger's and later SSG's games as well). So depending on what you consider a wargame, it was either The Warp Factor or Southern Command.
