gebe76 -> Editor manual ?? (11/1/2018 12:48:31 PM)

Hello,
I didn't found a detailed manual for using scenario editor in Battle Academy. I would like to know how to define hills. There was a link to a tutorial in the forum but it is a dead link now.
Thank you to help
regards

It's better to post BA questions in the Slitherine forum:

While in tile mode you hold CTRL and use the L/R mouse buttons to change the terrain height.

You can also see the wiki: http://www.slitherinebravo.net/GameWiki/doku.php?id=wiki:ba_modding_main

Just purchased BA2. Why has it taken so long for a comprehensive editor manual to be published? Very unprofessional. We stare at what looks like a nice modern editor. But it's a mystery how to use it. Your costumers should not have to spend hours using trial and error to figure it out. We paid for a major feature, and it's not usable except for the developers. Have one of them type up something for goodness sake. BA2 is half of a wargame for 40 bucks. This Lazy and really Lame.

I've no idea why there is a line in the manual saying that a 'paper' manual for the editor would be created, it was certainly not part of anyone's task list :) It would have been almost immediately out of date given the pace of updates to the game. The wiki as linked above is much more up to date. For specific questions I would recommend the main forum, which still has a decent modding community.

The editor starter doc for BA1 is a good place to start for the basics.
