Turn 13. Sep/Oct 1941. Axis #5. Actions. Germany - land, Italy - combine, Japan - land. The Italian Coast. The actions of the British off the Italian Coast forced Italy to take a combine in order to get Sicily fully back in supply and to use their two land moves to ensure that all hexes on Sicily are covered by a ZOC. Also, Germany used two of her three rail moves to move a garrison and MIL into Italy to bolster her defenses. Italy uses her naval move to move a supply task force out to the 1-box. The force could have moved into the 3-box, however, since the 1-box is reachable by an Italian fighter group the supply force was moved there in order to gain the benefit of fighter cover. The Italian decide not to initiate but, the RN/French do. The searches fail and, for now, the Italians have supply flowing fully to Sicily.
