ORIGINAL: brian brian & who is on point for the advance on Moscow? The Finlanders, of course. & which unit has liberated the most Russian hexes, all by itself? You already know the answer. Finland has made three commitments to Hitler, all of which they're currently honoring 1. Protect Petsamo and ensure that it's RP reaches a German controlled factory. 2. Cut the rail-line between Murmansk and the rest of the Soviet Union. 3. Contribute troops to Germany for the general war-effort against the Soviet Union. With respect to (3), the Finns have contributed the II Finish infantry corps to German to be used as the Germans see fit. Of course, Hitler is pushing Finland to contribute more forces but so far they've resisted those requests and will likely continue to do so. The only exception in the foreseeable future is a possible link-up of Finnish and Wehrmacht troops in the region between Lake Onega, Novgorod and Leningrad. Beyond that, the Finns have no national will to expand their war-effort contribution to Hitler. [image]local://upfiles/31901/40B14117AD584FE488BD2D11054CC03C.jpg[/image]
