I have 62 games on Steam and haven't had an issue with one of them. It keeps everything updated as well. DLC is readily available. Very good breakdown of reviews from all sides. A lot of neat tools from the workshops for most of the games. Forums aren't too bad either. Up-to date news on the game pages as well. If you add games to your wish list, you get emails anytime they're on sale - which is very nice. Multiplayer games is a charm - easiest I've seen. My brother and I play EUIV regularly. Had issues before steam making sure our games were updated the same.. etc, not anymore Steam helps with all of that. I've recently discovered legit websites to buy the game keys at a substantial discount, and then add them to Steam. Steam is about as good as it gets. I'm not 100% sure, as I'm not computer savvy enough, but you can add non-steam games to your steam library to have them available any time. As far as I know, you can play most of the games offline.. I haven't really had to, as I'm connected to the internet at home 24/7, but when it's down, I can still play Railroad Tycoon 2, the single best PC game ever made... [&o] I highly recommend Steam.
