The new zero supply rules in v1.16 should be a significant improvement to the game. In v1.15.02 it takes me 1 - 1 1/2 minutes (5G) to get into Steam PBEM hopefully that improves.

There have been optimizations for the PBEM++ lobby that will be included in the v1.16 update.
