ORIGINAL: Ostwindflak I recently reinstalled the game on a new computer and when I try and start up any scenario I get an error when it is trying to load "land unit data". The error message says: "Error creating new game. Try exiting the program to clear the memory." I do that and I keep getting the same error. Tried running it on admin mode too and same problem. I am attempting to play solitaire and I saved the bug report to e-mail if that would help. I am running the 2.9.5 beta. System Specs: Windows 10 x64 build 17134 12x Intel(R) Core i7-8700k CPU @3.70GHz NVIDIA GTX 1070 There were updates to MAP data that it appears you do not have included. Attached is the zipped file of the folder for the current MAP data. --- In general, when doing a full reinstall, you should start with the download (or disks) then click on the Check for Update button on the opening World in Flames screen. That will bring all the game files up-to-date. Only then should you replace the MWIF.exe from the members page: a public beta or a hot patch. If you do them out of order, the replacement MWIF.exe will have a higher version number than the Check for Update, and the update will says something like: "you have the latest version", without bringing the data files up-to-date. Please, let me know if replacing the MAP data solves this problem for you.
