Thank you Rannug and Crispy for the rewarding matches (as both allies and axis: 2 simultaneous games each) you provided. Oh yes...you both beat the everlovincrap out of me, but as my first face-to-face matches, you guys were an invaluable learning resource--thanks again for putting up with my mediocre play! I do feel better about losing to you guys after seeing the current standings. I would also somehow like to view a hypothetical match between both of you...great things could certainly be learned! Some Highlights: Rannug61 seemingly exerts mastery of the sea...he pulled off a "Toranto 1940" that should have been on YouTube; I lost all my Italian boats save the sub. As the Axis, Rannug caught me off balance (and quite unaware if I correctly recall) in Egypt; by the time I realized he was going to rout me entirely, it was too late. I then spent the rest of the game trying to pry him out of Iraq and Persia via the Caucasus from the north, and UK/US from the Persian Gulf...can you say Galipoli 1943? Avoid these logistics at all costs! As for Crispy131313, he launched an absolutely omnipotent Barbarossa that overwhelmed me early and on all USSR fronts. He moved so fast that the Siberian transfer didn't even get to defend Moscow. By the time I had any significant reinforcements to concentrate, my rail links had been badly cut with no north-south Op movement. I ceded on the eve (94%) of Infantry Tech Level 3. I am currently looking for an opponent to play the Allies...I prefer to be the Axis as I currently am the allies in another match. I can only juggle 2 games simultaneously for now. PM me if you wish to battle...
