Here is the first week of the German 2 week snow offensive. All fueled up

I am unaware and concerned why my 40th Army would surrender when it started the turn in supply.


It was a bad omen.

And i started noticing that even in losses the entire defensive forts get bashed down to zero.

It just seemed very unrealistic that in a loss, the forts would all get destroyed.

This fort clear out in losses was noticed in other battles as well.

In what can only be described as a horror of a turn, here is my dilemma in the clear.

1 more snow but I have no line on the lower Don, and I just lost another Army of troops. And nothing in the way of another German leap.

BAD situation.

Not fun. The units hugging the line are basically shells.

Ive cut supply to 4 German divisions. The German line was left vacant. Very cocky.

He will have to respond and fix the line.

This hex is unmovable. It has a force field of some type, unknown.

No forts and it won't budge!

A game changing attack must succeed and thrown the invaders back over the frozen Don.

Here is the attack lineup.

I think I shortchanged my attacking strength. Stress of battle.

It looks like i could have added in the Cav and Infantry just to the right of the action. Its possible the inf was an unready unit.

FM Bernard Montgomery would be very unsatisfied with this highly untidy defense alignment.

This is what one calls a disaster. And it happened in March 42.

Supply distance to German 36th Motorized (the spear top) is shown. The Mp's will be very long when mud hits turn 42.
