I've played this scenario a couple times. I can get the Victors to their patrol locations undetected. Finding and tracking SSBNs have been proving a challenge however. I use sprint inside the layer and take a listen under the layer when subs came to drift. Again, no success.
What are some tips for this scenario and in general for finding elusive subs?
Edit: Nevermind! I got all 3! Trick is to not have your subs run on a straight line. Zig-zag pattern works much better. Also alternate between under and over the layer and shallow depth every 30-40 nautical miles, at creep speed. I was able to find all the SSBNs and actually a few 688s as well. The last Ohio proved tough to find though!
