Don't think so - I assume Matrix will communicate widely once this is solved.

I was told with the transition to the new server some games might be lost.
This is not in my control BTW.

But the issue isn't that the game is lost. It is listed and you can download it and make your move. You just cannot upload it. That fails.

Did anyone tried to create a new PBEM to see if it works? Maybe all our existing PBEM games are lost...

Thanks ComadrejaKorp, I have played your newly created PBEM to test and I was able to upload my first turn. Did you receive it?

It seems to work fine for new games.
We will see if we have lost our current games!
I hope that the Matrix will explain to us soon what is happening, it is not normal that we ourselves should test if it already works.

The fact that the game is there and downloadable makes me question why it would be lost. That makes no sense to me.

Perhaps it is ““matrix““ who should explain to us if the games can be recovered.
Maybe it should also explain to us if we can already create new games or should we wait.
But unfortunately there is no communication.

I can wait to find out if ““Matrix““ can save our current games.
The question that I would like to know the answer to:
Can we create new games? or will they be lost?
After 2 days of waiting it would be nice to know something more about what is happening.

They are making a move to PBEM3. That is what I know. There is always growing pains.

I am just glad WarPlan Pacific wasn't released when they did the upgrade.

I put one in also. The next day they thanked me for bringing it to their attention, and said they were looking into it. Haven't heard anything more.

Alvaro, I know the server is out of your remit, but you should be very concerned about this complete shambles.

Your customers can't play your game.

No-one is telling them what is going on, several days later.

What's going on? Is your publisher collapsing, or suffered some personnel issues? I hope not.

Or is your publisher utterly incompetent in the realm of customer communications? Or does your publisher hold your customers in contempt?

Now the issue has been nailed down to only WarPlan. So I am working with them to narrow the problem.

Ok we figured out what it was and this was corrected.

Try playing the games again. If it doesn't work I will have a beta test fix for it.

I was able to download, make one move, and save to PBEM - which I was not able to do previously.

I have not confirmed a full move, but I would expect that since I can upload a SAVE PBEM, I will not have an issue with ending a turn.

Yes if you can upload save you can end the turn.
