The way the forum recognises things that aren't allowed to be posted by accounts that haven't posted more than ten times is incredibly broken. I have attempted to post about a DB issue multiple times, each time removing more and more info from the post and I'm still not allowed to post it and removing even more would just make it incredibly vague. There have been multiple times in the past that I have tried to post about a issue and just given up because of this. Is there any way to get around this besides just posting 10 bs messages in some dark corner of the forum? --Edit. This was the message I tried to post (already removed some details in an attempt to get it trough the restrictions) apparently I can't post anything in the CWDB threat, but I can post here. All US CA's and CAG's seem to have way too high fuel consumption values. This means they have about 13-19 hours endurance at cruise speed. Below are the units and their fuel consumption. They all have 40 tons of oil fuel. Creep: 44,55kg per minute Cruise: 49,5kg per minute Full: 94,04kg per minute Flank 185,62kg per minute All versions of CA Rochester All versions of CA Macon All versions of CA Toledo All versions of CA Des Moines All versions of CA Los Angeles All Versions of CA Newport News CA Boston CA Saint Paul All versions of CA Helena Creep: 30,72kg per minute Cruise: 34,13kg per minute Full: 64,86kg per minute Flank: 128,01kg per minute All versions of CA and CAG Canbrerra All versions of CAG and CAG Boston In comparison CG Albany which is a conversion of a ship that's part of the same class as the CA Rochester, Has the following fuel consumption values(also carries 40 tons of oil fuel): Creep: 0,9kg per minute Cruise: 1kg per minute Full: 1,89kg per minute Flank: 3,75kg per minute

I think it's a problem with the new DB, in the previous DB version the above mentioned cruisers either had 1980 tons of oil fuel or the same amount as now but with much lower consumption values. After looking furhter it isn't just the American cruisers mentioned above that suffer from this problem, but also the Soviet oilers VT Olekma and VT Kazbek. They used to have fuel consumption values similar to the Albany's mentioned above, but after the last DB update the values are rougly 50 times higher, but the fuel quantity has stayed the same, this means they have about 10 hours worth of fuel. (sorry for replying here, but apparently I literally can't post anything in the CWDB threat, but I can here)

I'll look into this. The 491 update saw literally tens of thousands of validation errors cleared from CWDB, and it seems likely that some of the adjusted fuel/propulsion values weren't correct; I'll see what can be done to fix this. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Thanks for bringing it to our attention! I don't know the current ins and outs of the current DB workflow but was heavily involved in a lot of this stuff back in the day. If you need testing of specific DB things please do post when there is a public release. More than happy to give the time I can to it. Mike
