The attached is from turn 1 of the St Vith scenario.

The supply route seems to have a bug between Stadkyll and the 1SS location.

Obviously the route indicated is not the most efficient!

There is a supply base SW of Stadtkyll. It gives 80 free AP upstream. Hence.

Best wishes,
Vic

There's a strange obstacle (very high movement cost) on the main road west of Stadtkyll. It effectively blocks the supply flow and troop movement too. That's the real problem there.

I don't know if it's on purpose or a mistake in the map. It would be nice if you could look into that.

Its not an obstacle it provides 80 AP of free costless supply movement, hence its routed through there.

best,
Vic

And just because the depot adds many movement points the supply truck takes the 23 hexes detour down south and up north again to the 1SS Korps, instead of taking the short route (7 hexes along a major road) to 1SS Korps... just for fun? ;)

The reason is a steep decline from height 4 to height 1 on the major road from Stadtkyll to Kronenburg, just south of Baasem. The big difference in height results in extreme movement cost (45 AP for 1hex).
All units coming through Stadtkyll to Losheim/Büllingen have to take either the same long detour as the supply trucks in the picture above or need half their turn to navigate carefully down that slope, for only 1km in length.

It really hinders German reinforcements in that sector. And I wonder if that is the desired effect or a mistake in the map?

In reality, that specific major road ("B421") follows the valley of the river Kyll between Stadtkyll and Hallschlag at a rather level altitude. The village Kronenburg itself lies high above that road. Maybe you took the height from the village and not from the road itself?

Sorry if I mess up some terms in English, it's not my native language.

Fixed next version, the issue was already fixed in Watch....
