It is truly bad news to hear that the guys at Matrix feel as badly as they apparently do about the herculean efforts they have put into SP:Waw, that they haven't received the tangible expressions of support ($)that they have needed. What they have done for us, the WWII historical gaming community has been unique in the history of gaming. We are not likely to see its equal again. As some have said here on this forum, I can live with SP:WaW as it is and get years of fun and pleasure out of it. What other game can you say that about? I've ordered both MCs and tee shirts and I still got a lot more than I've paid for. Thanks to the Matrix team for all you have done. I regret that more of us didn't express their gratitude with their wallets. I hope we can energize a larger audience to pay up for Combat Leader and whatever else Matrix produces. We here on this forum cannot afford to let the Matrix team get disillusioned, disenchanted, or not get a reasonable monetary return for their outstanding devotion, and sacrifice ... yes, sacrifice they could all probably be making a better living using their skills for purposes other than producing the best damned wargames around.
Pay up, guys ... or you'll regret it in the future.
