I have been playing LV for a week or so, and the following has occured: I had a "replay loop" of several scenarios, and now on the Collective Farm scenario the game gets to about the 7-8th turn, and then either crashes, says it is waiting to sync and then locks up, or just cuts off. The autosave feature starts me back at the beginning of the scenario. I have tried replaying it several times (I am really good at this one now), but it continually screws up. I checked the forums last night, and installed a 7.1 beta patch, but once again today, it did it again. Whats the deal with a correct patch? I really didnt enjoy replaying scenarios repeatedly either. Please advise.

This has been addressed, it will be corrected in the upcoming completely overhauled LV patch. The 7.1 beta patch corrects the waiting for all players to sync, but you'll have to wait for the LV patch to fix the looping issue. [ February 27, 2002: Message edited by: gmenfan ]

Thanks-any idea when the patch will be available?
After the 7.1b it didn't attempt to sync, it just locked up, then turned the game off. I had SUCH a decisive victory going, after playing the same scenario so many times.

Thats typical of LV, it does very strange things because of its problems. The retesting/reworking is in the final stages were hoping to have it ready within the next 2 weeks. Once the patch is released it will be recommended that players restart their campaigns due to the coding issues between your current saves and the newer data files that will drive LV to prevent future problems and crashes. Does anybody have an idea when the LV patch will be out? The game is unplayable until then, its so buggy.:(
