I already used them. Go back a few pages and see all the escort carriers that got sunk.

Sweet[8D]
There is, however, a worrying factor involved in here. If that was the sqdrn you screenshot above, with exp87, the results aren't as satisfying as they ahould be. Well, better then nothing...

No, they aren't the same planes as in the picture. These aircraft had experience only in the 30s! Now they are in the 60s after that single air battle. [X(]

Hopefully soon I can get 50 Shindens over an airfield and destroy hundreds of planes. I don't think the Allies ever get any fighters that can compete with the Shinden.

String -> RE: Hellcats Suck (9/29/2005 4:57:18 PM)

wow.. I wonder how that 87 exp shinden unit will do in combat.

Edit: Get a good squadron leader for them, the current one doesn't seem to be very impressive.

Not many good leaders left at this point. [sm=nono.gif]

Oh my..

Btw, care to post a screenie of your air production and industry state? How much Oil do you have left? Does anything get through to japan from SRA? ... are there even any oil centers left in SRA for that matter?

All's well and good before the allied heavies show up and pound the Shinden's airbase to oblivion and shut it down... Still, it must be nice to be able to get a good lick in this late!

The occasional tanker or transport is able to travel between the SRA and the Home Islands. I've stored up some heavy industry and am only producing advanced aircraft at this point. I also have those subs with radars being built.

The Shindens and Reppus move around - never in the same underground bunker for more than a few days. If Zeta is going to win in 1945, he needs to continue scoring points with manpower hits as his advance in Asia has been stopped cold. Airfield attacks will be like chasing ghost and yield little in the way of victory points.

WiTP_Dude -> Early October 1945 (9/30/2005 10:43:26 PM)

These troop concentrations would make interesting A-Bomb targets, unless Japanese cities make better VP targets. And he can use 2 before suffering any VP penalties.

Btw, how have your Ki-102 Randys done? I have most of my Lily squadrons with 70+ exp and I'm expecting a great deal of them in late 1944 when I hope to use them as bomberkillers. That is if my opponents send bombers in unescorted ofcourse.

I don't think they did very well.
