ORIGINAL: treespider Trying to use your utility to plan IJ first turn utilizing Pry's Scen. 34 and AB's map. Utility doesn't want to show airbases or ports or resources/fuel/oil etc on map....The correct map appears... with no information on it... EDIT: I have multiple installs.... AB"s map and Pry's Scen 34 are installed under C:/Matrix Games/AndrewBrown'sWar in the Pacific the original base game is installed under C:/Matrix Games/ War in the Pacific. In the utility...under the tools option when i point the utility to the AB file I get the correct map but no information...If I point the utility to the original game in the War in the pacific folder it appears to function normally. ie. the original map appears with information on it... The correct data appears in the side bar...just no visual representation on the map. EDIT #2: Still exploring ...the utility seems to be working fine with AB's scen 116. Possibly Pry's Scen 34 is missing a necessary file? Sounds like you don't quite have the paths correctly set. There are two paths under tools options: one for getting all the scenario files, pwhex.dat and the main SAVE folder (this path should be the main WitP folder) and one for the Map bitmap tiles (this should be the WitP ART folder). Note that Andrew's map mod uses a different pwhex.dat file and base locations may be different, so you probably need to do the following. When using the utility for a game based on Andrew's map set the paths to C:/Matrix Games/AndrewBrown'sWar in the Pacific and C:/Matrix Games/AndrewBrown'sWar in the Pacific /ART When using the utility for a game based on the original version, set the paths to C:/Matrix Games/ War in the Pacific and C:/Matrix Games/ War in the Pacific/ART This should work, if not I'm sure you'll let me know. [;)] Note that the paths aren't currently saved for each game, only for the utility as a whole, so you'll have to swap them back when you change to a game based on the other version.
