Hi. Any map creators here? I want a simple map, the '45 campaign with one small difference. The Americans own Okinawa with 200+ engineers and engineer vehicles, 250+ aviation support as well as all the allied aircraft and ships on it. I know this sounds kind of ridiculous but I wanna try and raze Japan. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You don't need a map to make these changes, just use the editor!

Open the scenario /campaign you want with the editor, make what ever changes you want and save it to different slot.

Riley;

Did you used to blow up green army men with firecrackers when you were a kid, as well?[;)]

I tried this. I made the change to Okinawa then I loaded up the map but it was blank, no bases, nothing.

Cap Mandrake: Yes I also use to set them on fire.

riley,

You need to use the scenario editor and the database editor together. It sounds like you used only the scenario editor.

The scenario editor sets up the scenario stats: number of turns, pilot pool, map size, production on/off, etc...

The database editor allows you to modify the devices, aircraft, ship classes, locations (bases and LCU's), air groups, ships, leaders and pilots.

There is an editor manual, located in the manuals folder. I suggest you read it first before trying to create your own scenario.

You might also want to check out the scenario design forum for some helpful tips.
