I am trying to figure out which of the device types simply do not work or were intentionally removed from the game. Additionally, there are few other items that seem to have been removed from the game.

1. Radar Detector (Device type 6)
2. Radar Jammer (Device type 7)
3. AA Rocket (Device type 11)
4. Balloon (Device type 13)
5. Surface to Surface rocket (Device type 1)
6. Search/CAP (Air Mission 8)
7. Sonar??? Is it depicted in the game or abstractly handled by ship type?

Educated guess - they were intended to be used but were not, or were intended for refinements/improvements that were not made.

Aawulf, dont forget about Toyoda engines for trucks and other engines for tanks.

Be careful deleting or using strange things; the game's balancing on a knife edge as is.

My guess is that when designing the game, devices used in previous 2by3 games, like Battle over Britain and Twelve o´clock high, were kept in the game for future use like the now cancelled Mediterranean WITP-based game.
You also have all the German MGs and Cannons, I´m putting them to good use on a "small" scenario I´m creating.
