Air Burma Akyab hit twice by a total of 11 Bombers--6 Cas and AF hit Myitkyina 9F 12B 12 Cas and AF Alaska Anchorage 38Z 64B Lose 2B, 22 Cas, Port hit 117,28 21B 76 Cas and 2 Guns French Frigate Shoal 57 B-25 157 Cas China (45,35) 24F 157B 182 Cas and 4G Aust (36,91) 141B 144 Cas Land Deliberate Attack: Anchorage! 0-1 Forts 7 down to 6 [:D] Japan 83,884 729G 6V Losses 2,579 52G 4V US/Can 67,628 692G 42V Losses 1,211 26G 1V Haven't got the 1-1 yet but it sure looks promising. Based on the disruption scores, it appears that I will hit Anchorage about every 4th day. Cannot bombard because of supply concerns. Have had AKs unloading there everyday but need all those supplies for the attacks. Start loading 2 Inf Brigades at Manila to finish off the Philippine resistance at Iloile. New Chinese Brigade that I shifted to 4th Fleet Command is done loading at Shanghai. Destrination: Anchorage Sea KB is a day from Dutch Harbor. All fires and a little flooding taken care of on Hiryu and Soryu. Their SYS Damage is Hiryu 34 and Soryu 16. Will refuel and reorganize and send them home for repairs. Akagi, Junyo, Hiyo, Hosho, Ryujo will refuel and head back out raiding. I would be willing to bet that Wolfpack tries to send something northwards since he knows I retreated with the CVs. June 14, 1942 SS Nothing Air Burma Akyab 8B cause 11 Cas and hit AF Myitykina 13F 13B 5 Cas and AF I have pulled back my fighters to Rangoon for over a week, decide to take a swing at Wolfpack and move two full Daitai--1 Oscar (36P) and 1 Zero (A3--27P)--for an ambush. We'll see if they score! Alaska Anchorage 41Z 73B Lose 1 plane, 22 Cas, 1 Vehicle, Port Anchorage Put up some LR CAP there and it works! 17 A2 vs. 6 P-36 Shoot down 3 of them! 117,28 20B 50 Cas and 4 Guns French Frigate Shoal 69 B-25 83 Cas and 2G AVG in China! 12 P-40s of the AVG make an appearance over the Chinese troops at 45,35 and my planes do OK. I had a busy weekend so Wolfpack and I only got 1 turn for the three days. June 15, 1942 SS MSW Palembang East of Pearl Harbor--ASW Attack on I-17--Takes 11 DC and sinks. Does spot a large convoy going east. SS Flying Fish attacks an AK--on the surface--hits it a couple of times and takes 2 hits from the AK Air Recon Perth with Emily's for the 1st time. Akyab, Burma--2 small raids of 17 Bombers--They lose 1 plane and damage AF. French Frigate Shoal 45 B-25 do 45 Cas China (45,35) 31F 160B 82 Cas and 5 Guns--NO AVG! Hoped to shoot some of them down... Australia (36,91) 112B 57 Cas Move 3 Daitai of Zeros to Johnson Island. It is now completely repaired...these Daitai have XP in the 70s and will cost any major attack that arrives... Move a 3rd Daitai of Zeros to Myitkyina, Burma and have 2 Daitai of Zeros as well as 2 Daitai of Oscars at Rangoon. Should chill Wolfpack down some... Ground Landing at Iloile, PHIL 49 Coastal Defense shots--no damage and take 750 Cas with the landing. Navy A strike of 6 B-25 from Juneau cream an AK with 6B at 117,31--it sinks Send out KB2 from Dutch Harbor--Akagi, Junyo, Hiyo sortie--to go after that convoy spotted by the late I-17. After getting just one turn in over the weekend, Wolfpack and I made up for it yesterday by getting four done! I was home sick from school and he took the day off. June 16, 1942 SS No development Air Burma Akyab 9B cause 7 Cas, 1 Gun, and hit Air Field Myitkyina 22Z/17 Oscars vs. 111 Birt Bombers and 42 B-17 [:o] I had hoped to catch his small raids and NOT these damned bombers! I lose 8 Z/7 Oscar for 17 Brit Bombers, 2 B-17, and 39 more damaged. Most of the fighters lost were on the ground--only 1-2 pilots lost. Aust (13,94) 25B Hit an Australian Cavalry Brigade (new Unit) for 21 Cas and 2 G Johnson Island 98 B-17 vs. 27Z (I have 72 there but only 27 flew! [:@]) Lose 6 Z for 4 B-17, 17 Damaged, 36 Cas, and AF hit. Land Landing at Iloilo, Phil Sea Bombard Anchorage: 2BB, 1CA, 1CL---151 Cas & 10 G 2AK are hit from Juneau B-25s. Lose 1AP to earlier damage at Kodiak. Akagi, Junyo, Hiyo, and Ryujo (202 Planes) are headed at High Speed SE to try and catch that convoy spotted by one of my SS from yesterday. That Chinese Brigade I got out earlier is now passing Sapporo and should be at Anchorage in about 14 days. 3. CONCENTRATION: Move the second life of troops from the Philippines (were going to Perth) and direct them (60,000+ troops) to Anchorage. They won't get there for nearly a month. Once all three groups are there, I should have enough force to finish the job. Will keep up the Naval/Air Bombardment.

Air Burma --Mandalay 108 Brit Bombers and 33 B-17 PASTE the AF, 178 Cas, 2 Guns, and destroy 7 Zeros on the ground. --Akyab 24 Zero hit two small attack waves of bombers. When done, Wolfpack loses 4 Hudson and 3 Beaufort for NO LOSSES! There were 8 Cas and AF minorly hit. Hawaii --Johnson Island--17Z vs. 68 B-17 Lose 7 Z for 4 B-17, 12 Damaged, 14 Cas, and AF hit. I hit CA Australia with 1B and put a single TT into CA Houston, CL Leander, CL Perth, CL Hobart, and 1TT Achilles. This should be enough to slow them down! Be nice to sink 3-5 cruisers tomorrow... Move the CTF towards Brisbane 3 hexes. This should put my CVs 12 hexes from LBA. Should be far enough away to not get attacked but close enough to pick off stragglers and cripples. Discengage my two STF from the Cvs and move them two hexes closer in hopes of catching cripples! Engineering: Kohima AF 2
