GaryChildress -> Request for Andrew Brown (4/17/2006 7:27:24 AM)

I have a request for Andrew Brown if he is willing and able to do it for me. Pretty please with icecream on top? [:)]

Andrew, could you take a stock map and add Christmas Island (the one south of Java) and Keeling Island (a little farther south from Java) to it ? Also, on the same map could you throw in a few of the Society Islands? I was going to try myself, cutting and pasting some existing islands, but I can't get the islands lined up the same on the maps with and without hexes. [:(]

Many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kereguelen -> Plane artwork (4/23/2006 3:28:26 PM)

Anybody willing to do

1) Hudson VI with RAF markings

3) Hudson IV with RAAF markings

3) Liberator III

For the Liberator III this link may be helpful: http://www.rafweb.org/SqnMark159-179.htm#178

Any help appreciated!

Thanks!

K

Grotius -> RE: Plane artwork (4/23/2006 5:38:41 PM)

I would like

1. Widescreen support, and

2. A high-res version of WITP -- preferably 2560 x 1600, but I'll take 1900 x whatever or 1600 x whatever or anything!

Dixie -> RE: Plane artwork (4/23/2006 10:53:48 PM)

How's this for a RAF Lib III?

TR Shrum -> RE: Artwork Programs (5/2/2006 1:58:08 AM)

This question may already have been asked, I just can't find it. What art programs are you folks using? I've tried Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating aircraft and ship artwork. Illustrator does a very good job, until exporting to BMP or JPEG. Once the file is reduced to fit the game, all resolution is lost. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or using the wrong program. It's obvious that there are several people doing great artwork for the game. It's just that I would like to do some for my own use without bothering the other folks. Could someone give me a direction to go?

Thanks

Iridium -> RE: Artwork Programs (5/2/2006 5:50:20 AM)

Has anyone tried their hand at redoing subs?

I've also run into some issues regarding simply not having subs in my art folder (it's what I get for erasing the whole thing). If anyone could send me a copy of the vanilla images or anything they may have on hand I would appreciate it.

mr reed -> RE: Artwork Programs (5/2/2006 10:45:13 AM)

Not a popular aircraft but thought the Vickers Vildebeest deserved better than stock artwork as we have couple of squadrons in Malaya

These are extremely huge files.
They would have to be posted on someones website.

Iridium -> RE: Artwork Programs (5/2/2006 6:58:15 PM)

The files weren't all that big since they were only the sub .img's but no matter. I fixed it on my own anyhow.

Mifune -> RE: Artwork Programs (5/5/2006 7:13:53 PM)

CobraAus I do enjoy your Requested Blue Buttons set (Allied Buttons3,4,6), but I am still hoping for matching color set for Button8.

pad152 -> RE: Requests For Artwork. (5/5/2006 11:46:58 PM)

Looking for sides/tops for the Dewoitine D.520!

I receently came across some data that list this aircraft as being used in the pacific.

here is one of the 12 MS-406 from the EC 2/595 (fighter squadron) the french had in Indochina Air ops 1940/23/11 - 1941/28/1 vs Japaneses after they forced their way into Vichy french territory. According to my infos, at least one of the pilots was a China veteran. French had about 100 planes there but MS406's were the only modern fighters. 3 japanese aircrafts were shot down. Japanese claimed only 5 french aircrafts

I would like to second this request, plus add one for P-38L. Side and tops for both planes. Are either of these available?

Andrew

Here's a Fury for you.

Dixie -> RE: Requests For Artwork. (5/24/2006 3:55:37 PM)

And because I'm bored at the mo, here's a P-38L. These two are the first plane tops I've done, but they should work properly.

Terminus -> RE: Requests For Artwork. (5/24/2006 6:27:15 PM)

Can ya do a Ki-115? And an F9F?

Dixie -> RE: Requests For Artwork. (5/24/2006 7:32:49 PM)

Here's the side for the Ki-115, the top's going to take a little longer, but I thought you might like a preview.

Wow! Nice one...[&o]

Dixie -> RE: Requests For Artwork. (5/24/2006 8:32:50 PM)

Here's the top for the Ki-115, it might still need a bit a tweaking to get it totally right.

Terminus -> RE: Requests For Artwork. (5/24/2006 8:39:50 PM)

The alpha top appears to be generally fatter than the real one...

Dixie -> RE: Requests For Artwork. (5/24/2006 9:12:35 PM)

OK then, how's this one?
