Could anybody clarify for me the matter of assaults?
How to say in advance if my infantry will assault the neigbouring hex fort, or just fire upon it? I thought I must have movement points preserved for the cost of movement to that hex, but now I am getting assaults from 0 points infantry.
Also, from time to time, when repeating assault my infantry does nothing, even though it has mv. points and shots left, but I just get suppression. I understand it as repelled assault ... not missed target, but even didn't manage to got to shooting, but is it intended? Shouldn't there be some message to this avail?
Shouldn't only infantry with at least grenades be allowed to assault? Assaulting a MG bunker with colt .45 doesn't look like a common task. If anybody pulls it through its worthy for medal of honor or iron cross.
if on assault I get probability 6% is it probability for whole assault team or for individuals? If for individuals, is it so even in case of assaulting with weapon which is present only one time? Rifle grenade, bazooka etc.? Or should I imagine they are passing bazooka around?
6% for 12member team ... 0.94 power 12 probability nobody hits that 53% probability of at least one hit ... that would explain a lot [img]http://www.matrixgames.com/ubb/biggrin.gif[/img]
