The snake on points... they would stare at each other for long periods of time, neither moving. Finally the snake would start inching toward the bird, and Mr. Heron would back up.

Nope. The weather was even worse today. Tomorrow is a day off for the launch team. The next attempt will be at 14:38 EDT on JULY 4th. I think that is apporpriate.

I don't see the water hose you bought. Where's the hose?

These were taken pre-hose! Actually, these particular pools are dried up, and the current pool is some distance from the one shown in the photos.

That is pretty much what it is. It will not be as complex as a space shuttle. The shuttle shuttle orbiters are extremely complex pieces of machinery (even if designed in the early 1970's). Even if they do drop like rocks when landing, they still need aerosurface controls, it is a glider after all, orbital maneuvering systems, to change attitude, altitude etc on orbit, all the life support systems a space vehicle requires, etc. Also the Space Shuttle Main Engines are still some of the most advanced rocket engines around, even if they are 30 years old.

Who was that masked bumper? He never stays around long enough to have a conversation. Are he and Speedy still duking it out?

Oh yes, we have a very long campaign ahead of us... providing the little girlie-man stays to take his beating.

See what I mean. Gone in a flash. I was only distracted long enough to input orders for 3 merchant task forces. Well time to execute the turn. Back in 15 minutes.

LOL Bruce/T,

Speedy is still here. Been a manic wekeend  - out almost all of yesterday - watched football and then at a party  until 3.30 AM. Got up late this morning a bit groggy and then in to town with GF for shopping (clothes for new job etc) and then badmninton this evening.

Next week will be the last week away on business at my current job.....busy until Fridayish. Have my laptop with me though so hopefully sneak in a few turns when I can.

Tithe to Thread and it's followers

I admitted no such thing, you're simply clutching at straws here, Brit-Boy. It was a momentary surprise at the fact that all your boys didn't melt await like snowflakes in a microwave at the first sight of the dust clouds thrown up by my advancing troops. That's what they've done to now...

Just wait 'till it's time for the Allied counterstroke... Then the turnover time will markedly increase...
