I did; more to follow later... I only just came through my front door about 25 minutes ago. That's just my level of dedication to the Glory of The Thread...

Riight.... too hot to take a shower, in reality........

Back from a weekend excursion, myself. Apparently, based on temperature readings, our destination was fairly close to, if not right on the doorstep of, hell. Whew!

Another WiTP question. Keep in mind I am playing the AI. I am starting to get significant land units in Karachi. I was going to move a bunch of this to eastern India to protect the border as Burma appreas to be going down. i was going to move some to Columbo and Tricomolee to protect Ceylon. Is this a good idea?

(to tune of "You Were on My Mind")

When She Woke Up This Morning
She had Pressure Washing on her mind...
Pressure washing on her mind!
I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

So I went to the garage
Just to view my pain
Yeah, just to view my pain
I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I had to start that thing again...

************

Yes, more fun at the Money Pit. My wife decided it would be a Good Day to use the pressure washer.

Some years ago, i thought it would be a good idea to buy one, so i purchased a 6 hp gasoline powered pressure washer.

Every time we've tried to use it, there have been problems (aside from maybe the very first time).

This time was no exception.

After 1 hour, i finally got the &*%#$# thing started, and we then pressure washed the wooden fence enclosing the a/c and pool machinery, then the sidewalk, then the barn, and a picnic table. Altogether, about 5 hours of fun!

Wife finally ran out of steam (despite yours truly doing the heavy lifting, so to speak). It ended up with an incident with flaming oil, but that's another story...

Now about to learn something new about pirates at our semi-local cinema.

Later....

We just narrowly missed our first carrier duel - he withdrew his carriers out of range. Overall, about like one might expect, lots of damaged transports, but he's still getting troops ashore.

Pretty entertaining... lots of action, and Capt. Jack Sparrow has some wickedly funny lines.

Probably should have re-watched the P.o.C.-I first though - lots of folks showed up from the first movie that i wasn't expecting ever to see again.

Eire was very good, thank you. Shot nearly two full rolls of film, but not much in the way of militarily relevant stuff; I'll get 'em developed first, and see if there's any good enough to scan and post.

Glory Everlasting to The Thread!!!
