A cabbie picks up a Nun. She gets into the cab, and notices that the
VERY handsome cab driver won't stop staring at her.

She asks him why he is staring.

He replies: "I have a question to ask you but I don't want to
offend you"

She answers, "My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as
I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see
and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you
could say or ask that I would find offensive."

"Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me."

She responds, "Well, let's see what we can do about that: #1, you have to be single and

#2, you must be Catholic."

The cab driver is very excited and says, "Yes, I'm single and
Catholic!

"OK" the nun says. "Pull into the next alley."

The nun fulfills his fantasy with a kiss that would make a hooker
blush.

But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.

"My dear child," said the nun, why are you crying?"

"Forgive me but I've sinned. I lied and I must confess, I'm married
and I'm Jewish."

The nun says, "That's OK. My name is Kevin and I'm going to a
Halloween party."

I'm tired   Coming off of shift rotation onto Monday - Friday has made more tired than usual.  I don't think this morning's (un)fitness test helped either

3 Minute Management Course

Lesson One:

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.
A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him,
"Can I also sit like you and do nothing?" The eagle answered:
"Sure whynot."
So, the rabbit sat on the
ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden,
a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Management Lesson:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very
high up.
____________________________________

Lesson Two:

A turkey was chatting with a bull.
"I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed
the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy." "Well, why don't you
nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed
with nutrients." The turkey pecked at a
lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to
reach the
lowest branch of the tree.
The next day, after eating some more dung,
he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the
turkey was
proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by

a farmer,
who shot him out of the tree.

Management Lesson:
Bull sh!t might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson Three:

A little bird was flying south for the winter.
It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large
field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some
dung on him.
As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to
realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He
laid there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing
at heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the
sound,he cat discovered the bird under the pile of
cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Management Lesson:
(1) Not everyone who ****s on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of **** is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep ****, it's best to keep your mouth
shut!

This ends the three minute management course.

My first priority after getting out of bed this morning was my turn for Terminus. That has been sent. Good morning all.

I have to change the charcoal filters on the reverse osmosis unit this morning also.

I will start working on an AAR update.

Sorry to hear that Dixie. Is there a corrective action PT program in the future?

Yep, I have an appointment next Thursday, they're going to measure body fat, blood preesure and something else that I can't remember. It's a bit annoying, they tell you it's max effort, but there's no real incentive to try really hard on two parts if failing one means an automatic failure.

On the plus side, I get a free gym card, it's almost worth the hassle of failure. I am choosing to take consolation from the fact that I exceeded the required levels in 2/3rds of the test, and that work finished after an hour and a half today.

Overall today has gained a 7 out of 10: Good but could have been better

Funny jokes, BTW. I'm sure faber will be aghast at the nun joke. Heck, that might have been faber if it hadn't been for the handsome part.......
