Oops - correction!! IRWIN ALLEN had series on during that time (producer of Time Tunnel). Time Tunnel was only 1966-67.

When Slaughtermoron did his little spam cavalcade the other day, I was reminded of an SNL sketch: "The Thing That Wouldn't Leave", about the final guest at a party that just WOULDN'T go home...

They had one "commercial" of a slot car set. When you pressed a special button, the cars would burst into flame, and they had a special ambulance "meat wagon" to cart off the bodies.

Some time later, some one wrote into Anne Lander's advice column complaining of the "violent nature of toys for kids today" and described the "ad" precisely. Anne roundly condemned the toy makers. Now, what the viewer thought they were advertising kids toys after midnight i'm not sure, or perhaps he/she was having a bit of fun with Anne...

Last time i saw her, it sure didn't look like she did! She looked a lot older than 67...

EDIT: i am not the only one that thinks so. My wife was watching something on TV when she exclaimed and i saw turned and Ms. Rigg on the tube. My wife is an admirer of hers (and most of the characters she portrays) and was appalled and dismayed at how she looked.
