I see the Total Killed on your enemy's side is mathmatically "counting up", in that the total is becoming progrssively more positive. I wonder what happens when it reaches "0" again?

It rolls back over to a positive number. The limitations of a older game programmed with memory usage in mind. Just go back farther to when variables were 1 byte. There's where the fun begins.

I realize I made the tone of my previous post rather harsh, so I do apologize for that.

One thing I forgot about; I haven't had this game for a long time, just around two months. I haven't even been a member of the board for that long yet. So in a far shorter amount of time, with things such as a job and playing other games and a classic truck I'm restoring in the way, I've managed to improve to having results far better than anything TBT's posted.

RiunT, thanks for posting those pics. While TBT might argue a delay means allowing yourself to be routed after a short fight, results showing like those you have cannot be refuted, unless he truly is ignorant.

I believe the topic can be closed. Even in an unrealistic game, Haig's theory of battle strategy is proven to be a failure, just as it was in WWI.

hit it. I wan't to see it myself, jsut to see how well those things do. I've not seen the AI use them very well, but that's the AI. It's as simplistic as Hiag was, and only slightly more effective. And I usually don't play as the Germans later war, usually US army. So my experience with the Panzers and Jagdpanzers are all early war, Panzer I and II.

I have not read the latter rants contained within this cesspool of a thread, but I am sure there be plenty to reveal the dark minds of those depreciating themselves as such.

Hurrah to that Riun T. I always wondered why such rancor between people who love both military history and this great game should also have differences requiring fighting words. Have a nice day brother.

That's good, Riun and TBT. I'm glad that you guys are OK with each other.

That being said, when are you gonna duke it out via a PBEM battle?

I apologized, yet I have heard no apologies regarding being called an uneducated fool with no knowledge of militart tactics or history just because I disagreed with the complete insistance of TBT on the perfection of General Haig's theories of battle strategy. You insult me, expect me to get mad. Up until then it was kept civil to a point, with only snide remarks shot back and forth.

Hey, buddy, hope this was just a button mistake in replying to my post cause I think your a topshelf kinda guy and I'm gonna throw those shots of the battle where I hornswaggled those JAGDTIGERS, and speaking of tactics who was the highest proponant for the use of tank destroyers cause thats the ace that I got away with in the scense that they can maneuver so much better as a turreted medium weight speedster from cover than the JAGD's could. Actually, I just clicked the reply button on your post because it was the first I came to. I was actually replying to TBT.

I've never had problems against a tank destroyer unless I had Shermans. And I've learned to keep some Wolverines around to help them out.

Here finally I can give u the DRAW THAT REALLY WAS A VICTORY in the scense that when I saw the JAGD's pull onto the field I didn't think I'd be able to stop them!!

Impressive victory. I've never managed to keep that much of a enemy force around to kill off. They usually break beforehand.

So the German force was an overwhelming number of infantry, backed with artillery. And a half dozen JagdTigers. What was your core?

some like to run their infantry with all their tanks but I make strike utility packages as I call them and mix the faster tanks with the troops and the slower with the engineers

Ruin T, you seem have a lot of battles on the go. How do you find the time for all this in a day? I usually get only one battle done every few days unless I get lazy on a saturday or sunday and battle for longer than I should.
