I'm just wondering how to make japanese bases had the rising sun flag (the one with sun beams) instead of the stock one hinomarus?
Which file have to be modified/replaced?

i did some of these for fabertong a while back, but they did have a minute penguin in the center of the rising sun flag (unreduced flag below):

You modify the mapiconsJ.bmp file. The problem i ran into was the files are in 8 bit color, iirc, and in editing they got converted to a different format. When i reconverted the modified files into 8 bit color again, it changed some of the colors (from yellow to green i think.) i didn't figure this out until some time later...

There is a set of map icons available at spooky's which swap the japanese base symbols for rising suns. I can't remember which ones but look back to a year or so ago, you should find them.

let me know if you like this, send me ur email addy and I'll send you my whole set........I kinda cut & pasted borrowing from 2 or 3 different sets but thses flags are the best me thinks..........the Capt.
