IRL, the George could provide a decent fight for the F6F in the hands of an experienced pilot. Unfortunately, by the time it became operational, the Japanese had neither enough experienced pilots or sufficient George airframes to make much of a dent. It wasn't much of a bomber interceptor though. And like many other late war Japanese fighters, it suffered from a slew of maintenance issues. Still, it was better than the A6M overall. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive the George in my games so I can't tell you whether it will hold up against the competition in WitP. Chez
