I'm not sure if you're addressing me or Larry but we both use a mix of mods from different sets.

This turn did not see any major combat except in the nordic AO. The hardworking comrades of the people's railway were kept busy once again. Stavka decided to give the fascists a taste of what massed artillery can do to infantry with the forces around Vyezma taking some much deserved casualties

Here is the first frame of the new movie. Image shack can only handle 9 frames at 100% or 15 at 75% so I'll just stick with 100% and it will be a multi part story like Star Wars.

()

On the Nordic front, the forces sent to reestablish the Murmansk rail line made progress this turn pushing the fascists back and inflicting losses on their armor. Murmansk is surrounded on land but is still supplied by sea. STAVKA has a suprise in store for the enemy in the next couple of turns.

()

The situation between Moscow and Lenningrad is stabilizing to a degree. Forces are being deployed along the rail link and as long as it is open reiforcements will be sent to the Lenningrad area. For the time being the southern concentration of Lenningrad"s defence will not change.

()

The forces left to defend along the Dnieper River have succeeded in tying up a large amount of forces from AGS. The forces are still sizeable and should hold out for some time.

()

The defenders at the entry point to Crimea were pushed back at one point but are still holding and were again reinforced from landings by naval infantry and cavalry.

()

Here you see the kind of defensive line(s) my opponent is using:  most every front line hex has a mixed inf. / armour composition and there is extensive defending in depth.  The second line is mostly forts ( movement point 1 ) but even that is enough to keep any penetration down to the minimum.  Here's a shot east of Smolensk and west of Moscow:

This turn saw the Red Army deploying more reinforcements to the points along the line that required extensive shoring up. The Lenningrad/east line and the Crimea bottlenecks saw the bulk of this movement. With the fascists approaching a number of urban centers the strategic deployment along the line was changed in a number of points as well. With less emphasis on combined arms and more on depth, hopefully there will be no major breaches that can't be reinforced.

Here is a movie of the last two turns

()

Here is how the defenses between Moscow and Lenningrad are shaping up.

()

The defense of Moscow is now deeper with the formations to the rear preparing fortifications that frontline units will be able to retreat to when needed.

()

Here is the new defenses in the Karkhov district.

()

Here are the Red Air Force losses and air briefing thus far. Maybe the Luftwaffe isn't so formidable after all.

There isn't any significant changes for the Red Army from the last turn. The fascist took a few cities in the south, engaged some points south of Lenningrad. The majority of what went on this turn was constructing fortifications and transporting reinforcements. However there was combat in the Far north and Red Army forces inflicted 28% casualties while taking 3% in one battle.

Here is the movie of the last 3 turns

()

Murmansk area saw the Red Army push back the fascists blocking the relief columns. Next turn more reinforcement will arrive.

()

Lenningrad rail connection defenses are getting built up at a satisfactory pace.

()

Here is a closer view of the defensive lines from Kalinin to Black Sea

The front remained more or less static this turn. The forces holding the Crimean bottlenecks continue to hold and continue to be reinforced although the new forces are larger and heavier. Murmansk area is also being reinforced at this time as well.

Here is a movie of the last turns

()

The situation around Lenningrad shifted considerably this turn. The fascist have begun in earnest their assault on the Luga positions. While STAVKA had it's doubts as to whether the forces were strong enough it was decided they definately were not, particularily on the west flank. In the last couple of turns a number of formations have beeen building fortifications out side of the city in anticipation of a general order to withdraw to more defensible positions. This turn the move was initiated and a number of divisions moved to the new lines while others stayed to affect a delaying action on the current line. Stavka is going to keep reinforcing the area as long as possible and have a defensive 50km deep from Lenningrad to where ever possible on the supply line leading to it.

(

Here are some of the infantry and amour losses thus far

()
