Gentlemen,

As you know I have decided to abandon the port of Soochow. A port that is no longer needed. I will be pulling back to Nanking  and moving deeper into China with my forces. The recent decision to abandon the attack of Shanghai has forced Japan to go on the defense. Korea and the Home Island are bracing for an allied invasion. The bulk of the Japanese merchant Navy is taking shelter and is avoiding any US engagement.  Japanese warships are on standby for an immenent US attack but will only engage on a defensis basis.

Billy! You are going to redirect and drive deeper into china? Do you have adequate forces to keep your supply lines open? Well i guess he only has what 1000 Av or so? He won't be able to cut off your troops if they drive deep into china eh?

Actually I think he has nearly 2000+ points around Shanghai, his brought in UK, Australian and France units. I counted 48 units.

I have enough supplies to go deep into China, basically I want to draw him out of Shanghai and fight him in the open ground. Hong Kong is now my primary objective and I need to battle every city to get there. Once that is achieved I will bring transports and hit Malaya.

Where is malaya? singapore? If he has 2000AV near Shanghai he must have emptied singapore. Just be careful with your navy. You could still kill the us fleet right? does the us fleet really outclass the japs that badly?

Actually i guess it does. In bills game vs pzb his us fleet killed the japs.

Yes Singapore, but I have a feeling his going to start moving stuff out of Shanghai soon and start reinforcing Hong Kong and inner China. Regarding the US navy, actually I dont know.  I waiting for him to hit me at my home turf and we see the results, however I think he will suffer because my ships are pretty experienced.  Overal Japanese Navy is still strong but in terms of an offensive role like hunting the US, thats not possible at the moment, most of my ships are damaged and are in need of repairs.

Ahh an end around again on Shanghai? Do you think he'll fall for it again? You already hoodwinked him with the Russians. If he engages at nanking then you can sweep up shanghai and crush him there.
If not you have to be careful not to get cut off by those allied units up north. How many units did he land?
