Gentlemen,

Im holding the line in China I managed to fight off the allies in trying to cut me off, but it was successfully twarted.
My units are holding onto Nanking and on the western front the city of Wuhan. Both are urban city and it will be hard for the allies to break my defenses. Little progress is taking place in gaining territory. It seems Im pretty bogged down.

Perhaps pull all the way out completely get your troops back to mainland japan to refit. Saw a post from tanker that says it take 20 turns to refit a full division with replacements.
After you get your troops some R&R strike out somewhere on mainland japan with an invasion. If you pull out he'll probably chase you then you can land right in shanghai while his main body is away.

Do you think your sea power is completely beaten now?

Actually Im not worried about my units, they all pretty strong. Im just not moving anywhere in China. I need to kill enemy units but at the moment Im just bogged down. If I move out he will simple chase me so its better we both are bogged down.  I need to be careful with an sea invasion because I dont have much to protect it. My navy is getting strong by the day but I still have nearly 7 BB with systems damaged around 90% so im not actually ready to take on the US.  I think it was a mistake to hit Russia first. I should have secure China. I have no nearby place to strike because the US fleet can easily intercept me.

Yikes in'chon is a big target of his now. Is in'chon the port you are using to bring supplies onto the mainland? Do you still have enough supplies after taking the main russian cities?
How are you faring keeping your supply up with the mainland.
I saw you put a few torps into a few US bb's. Hopefully that will slow him down a little bit. Do you have a long term direction or are you just reacting to what bill throws at you? Whats your 2 years plan to go into the final stretchs of the war?

I think you should fortify and make him come for you and pick his fleet off just like you have been doing.

In terms of supplies I just have enough, but they are starting to get low at my front lines. Im moving out of China and falling back, Im leaving a small garrison at Nanking and Wuhan, to hold the line. Overal Japan has failed in its conquest of China and is pulling back. The city of Peking is my next objective, Ive bypassed it before, now its set as a main target. One chinese unit is causing havoc up there, I didnt realize that I must have activated them. The next shipment of supplies will be set to sail in a few turns aswell as an escort force so there might be a US/Japanese engagement soon. Im pretty much reacting to what bill throws at me. I have just abandon wake island since it no longer has a strategical cause since US are using marcus island. Plan for 2 years now, is to fortify my positions , North China, Korea, and Russia and Japanese Home Islands and await the Allied offensive.

Ouch how much of the units did you lose when he sunk your transports? I'm guessing you instantly broke into tiny units and spread them out?

If you have him out of shanhai why not crush peking and then come back with a vengence push through nanking to shanghai before he has a chance to act.
If he has everyone outside shanghai send in a group of fast transports to drop units into shanghai and hopefully take it while its weakly defended. Bill seems to be the time that is impulsive
and he wants victory now. He showed that when he couldn't be patient with the UK fleet. I am guessing he has no reserves in shanghai. He does not follow Sun Tzu and he doesn't keep a reserve.
When you defend everywhere you defend nothing. When you attack with no reason for attacking you are powerful. Impose your plan on him do not let him impose his plan on you. Teach him that you must keep a reserve or you will get burned.  Unless you think his navy would destroy any attempt? If you take shanghai in a blitz what happens to all the ships in anchor? Are they scuttled?

Actually alot of them were engineering units but the transports are safely back at Japan, I roughly lost around 50 assualt points from the divison that was at Wake, its way better then getting hit by an US bombarding force anycase. Im glad I pulled out of Wake. Those 3 divisions can be better used elsewhere. Shanghai is a lost cause now, with the US fleet guarding her and the thousands of mines that lay in its entrance its not possible to take. Yes if I took Shanghai, all ships in anchor will scuttle.
