If anyone doubted that it is too easy to train pilots or that experience gain is too easily achieved and needs to be toned down just needs to look at this. 24 hours and one milk run later Pocheng gained 12 experience levels...he jumped from 2 to 14 in a single mission.

So? At 2 he knew how to climb into the aircraft. At 14 he sorta knows what all the dials do.

I have no problem with this as long as gain decreases progressively as XP rises...which I think it does.

IIRC experience is supposed to be more difficult to increase as the level increases so I agree with your assumption but a jump from 2-14? Pretty quick by any standard.

Nice job on the galley there Bill!

It would be really handy if the date a ship was sunk was included in the sunk ships list. Be able to see monthly losses. Without the date I find the list almost useless, increasingly so as it gets longer.

Day 3 of Pochengs career in WITP and his experience goes from 14 to 15, no mission flown. Not set on TRAINING either as this unit is tasked with ground attack.

Sorry Bill, forgot about the Jap landings at Gasmata, New Britain, SW of Rabaul. Unlike our other game, Bill seems to be nmaking sure he invests all the Allied bases in any area he moves into. This sets up a supporting complex of bases from which he can better defend against Allied air power.
