As indicated, you should generally march from base to base. You can set a objective hex to whatever you want without a problem. But march orders, move from base to base. Somebody said no more than 600 miles, that's safe. I'll say I haven't had an issue with keeping that number uner 1000 miles. But over 1000 miles, I've seen problems. And if you ever do stumble across a unit that has over 60 miles, maybe give it one more turn (I actually have seen it go from like 62 miles, and then move), but if it doesn't go on the second turn, switch the destination hex. And yes, you've just "lost" that time/miles, it just sucks. You have reset the orders to something closer. -F-
