Esperanza Spalding was in town last night, I went to the show.

Very talented, beautiful woman. All the musicians were excellent.

Could have done w/o her Travon Martin tribute though

Here is a couple of sad songs from movies an Englishman might have missed.

Morag's Lament by Karen Matheson from Rob Roy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qkSNZ3agmI

Murron's Burial from Braveheart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tS7V5XoYCaQ

And as a bonus two versions of "Six Ribbons" from the TV-series Against the Wind.

Jon English - Six Ribbons

Six Ribbons on Native American Flute

I like the music from Braveheart

I'm listening to it a lot lately. Even more than to Chic Gala.

I'm listening to it now with lyrics for the first time. Funny thing. This project has began as depressive black metal and ended up as atmospheric black metal in vein of the first Emperor's albums.

Hey, it was a tragic event.

One dude thought that a dude visiting his friend is a robber or something like that.
Another dude thought that a neighbourhood watchman following him is a serial killer or something like that.

Both of them acted on these quite probable yet mistaken premises and it ended up with one of them dying.

Just played a few seconds of the romantically titled "Penetration" - could be worthy of a longer listen me thinks - interesting sound.

Storm Thorgerson died the other day sadly. Those who don't know his name will certainly now his art. He did many Pink Floyd albums like Dark Side of the moon and did some Led Zeppelin's albums and various other Artist including Muse and The Cranberries. He was 69. Sad to see the flower power generation start to leave this mortal coil.

So here is to you Storm..RIP

Yeha something like that...

Anyway. I shouldn't have mentioned trayvon here at matrixgames as it's not the proper venue. Nor is the Philharmonic Performance Hall a proper venue for political statements which paying attendees may or may not agree with...

What I should have said is: I didn't order front row seats months in advance (70 beans that's a lot of money to me) to hear her political opinions. I paid that much simply to watch her play, not be subjected to her (questionable) philosophy. That was the point I should have made. Sorry.

@ SLAAKMAN, contestant #20 is very skinny. You're starting to like slender ladies too aren't you? I've been a good influence on you as I notice you finally developed a finer taste in women. Glad I could help you.

Here is my third video.

Legend Of Crazy Horse

I was able to include many of the lyrics to the song in the description but the full set wouldn't fit. Go here for the full song lyrics.

Great classic with a good history lesson included.
