Love this underrated golden oldie

David Soul - Don't Give Up On Us Baby

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YY8APrYU2Gs

Robert, he has a remarkable voice on this tune!

Patrick

Agreed Patrick - and a lovely toon

Speaking of ball-bouncingly brlliant toons, how about this Depeche Mode classic from the album Ultra? The string sound that appears through much of this track is just beautiful

Depeche Mode - Home

Robert, Yes "Home" has a very beautiful string sound, the string sound could have been produced by a Mellotron (you probably know about the Mellotron, but for those that don't): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mellotron
Depeche Mode are real innovators with music!

You missed them? In what way?

As far as I recall this was the first time I listened to them.

But I think that I ought to have listened to them before since they are great tunes from a band that I listened on when I was young. Therefore I consider it as I have missed out on these songs.

Not an aerosmith fan but love this song. Got into it thanks to its presence on the equally stonking, melancholy and quite brilliant:

This song was covered by many i.e. Dave Mason, Joe Cocker etc but imo this is the best version. Love the bass line.

Grand Funk Railroad-Feeling Alright

Puttin the orig by Traffic/Dave Mason up too because the GF version doesnt include the last verse which is great.

Traffic - Feelin' Alright

I didn't like the song. I think that Sanna Nielsen was way better. And several other as well, including Malta whose contribution I previously posted.
