This doesn't beat Julie Andrews, but for a live performance this is pretty special The reaction of the audience says it all really. Beautiful.

'The Beatles Live at the BBC'. 4 CDs of live music, sadly not released until recently.

That's awesome and the sound quality on the cd's is good! The compilation of "The Beatles Live at the BBC: The Collection" came out in 2013...highly recommended! Thanks for posting the video!

I like Paul's version of Elvis's 'That's All Right Mama' and John doing Ray Charles' 'I Got A Woman'.

The Official all-time officially official list of all time and that’s official ™ AKA The OATOOLOATATO awards.

Right let’s get this Disney list started.

The first category is Bestest Disney Villain song. Here are the five standout contenders for this prize......

First up is:

Frollo with

Hellfire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

This strikes me as being quite surprising for Disney – I think the words make it clear where this nutter is at vis-a-vis Esmerelda! Dirrrty boy!

Second candidate is:

Ursula with

Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid

One of the strongest candidates without doubt. Great lyrics.

Our third hopeful is also a leading contender:

Skar with

Be Prepared from The Lion King

One of the most evil of Disney Villains - sort of in Stalin territory as he's happy to kill his own family as well as his citizens in pursuit of power... nice...

I love the goose-stepping Hyenas too

Dr Facillier with

Friends on the other side from underrated Princess and the Frog

Are you reaaaaaaaady?

The final contender is:

Gaston with

Gaston from Beauty and the Beast

Again very clever lyrics on this one "no one persecutes harmless crackpots like Gaston"....

But I'll give my nod to "Poor Unfortunate Souls". When we went to Walt Disney World last month, this earworm infected us all.

I'm struggling with picking a winner from nos 2, 3 or 4. No.1 doesn't quite get there on musicality while no.5 is equally brilliant but the song is too 'nice' for a villain.

So.... I'm going to go with Be Prepared but its almost impossible to separate.

Hmmm...

I am voting for... Hellfire, probably the darkest of all the Disney villian songs...

Best wishes,
Steve

No, but you would be very welcome to cast a vote for one of these five quality toons.

Brilliant! I see I lead based upon the tie-breaker system the supercomputer is using. Top notch. I say. Jolly jolly good what.

...and now back to your votes please? Remember this is not best (worst) villain, but best villain song.

Thanks to your splendid idea I have been listening on Disney toons for days so I could suggest some tunes for nomination.

But before I was ready to post my suggestions I found that the competition had begun. So my schedule had to be shifted for this important event. These 5 songs have been listened to over and over and analysed. The winning tune will soon be posted.

Thank-you for your efforts . However, this is only the first category. This OATOOLOATATO (tm) could go on for months

You were right when you said No.1 doesn't quite get there on musicality but it is still god enough and it beats the rest of them on the evil feeling. Nr 5 was to nice. Nr 4 came in a close second, but lost in the end due to the chorus at the end of Hellfire. So Nr 1 Hellfire receive my vote.

Thank-you Ormster. We now have a clear leader, and its that naughty Mr Frollo - who thinks that its acceptable to burn down the whole of Paris to find Esmerelda - who takes the lead.

1. Hellfire (2)
2. Poor Unfortunate Souls (1)
2. Be Prepared (1)
4. Friends on the Other Side (0)
4. Gaston (0)

Come on folks, keep them votes coming in.

We knows where you at Frollo, you naughty clergyman.....
