Good song, Diehl.

Nothing like playing Command Ops and listening to tunes.

Saw an interesting show last night on Britpop in the 90's. For the life of me I can't remember the name.

Oasis, Blur, the little "war" b/t them, Elastica, etc.

Never cared much for that genre but still a good show.

Yes, that "war" was all something and nothing. After beating Oasis to No.1 with Country House??? Blur went downhill from there.

What's The Story Morning Glory was a very good album, but that aside I never had anytime for the Gallagher brothers; couple of uncouth, $%^&*&^.

Britpop gave us some good music I suppose, but I can't help linking that time with "Cool Britannia" and Tony Blair

I still think the early 80's was the best time for music

Interesting comment, Warspite; a lot of the folks they interviewed felt they had been used by the Labour apparatus and once Labour was in again, the musicians were shown the door. I can't help thinking, "What did you expect from politicians?"

And the Gallaghers took themselves a little too seriously, I'd say.

Dear me, where has the time gone. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. Here are a couple other songs I loved in the 80's:

Just Between You and Me

Gypsy Queen

And now for something completely different.

I discovered "Florence + The Machine" by watching the new "Game of Thrones" trailer. I bought their "Celebration" and I can stop listen to it. "Seven Devils", "What the Water Gave Me", "Lover to Lover" and "Bedroom Hymns" are fantastic. Actually I happened to listen to "What the Water Gave Me" while playing "Steam and Iron" by NWS, and the track is now my official soundtrack of the game.

Good ole Billy Thorpe. I swear them Aussies are some tough S.O.B's. Even their musicians could kick my arse.

I'll keep with the classics here.
A couple longer jams;
