Yes, for most. However, there are few obviouse fictional city names that have been around for decades like Gotham and Metropolis. Others may exist as real cities somewhere but I've never checked. I just thought up the name in my mind and liked the way it sounded with a certain nick name.

Wow, Cape City has made a charge in the last few weeks. They are the least penalized team and their QB Knight is second in touchdowns. Fear the Corsair Nation.

Oh no, my Nightbirds got knocked off by ROXFORD???

*sigh*

Ther's always next year. No way we're making the playoffs now. I have this sneaking suspicion that Midway will knock off Market City.

ARGH!

I knew that Dunberry loss to Cape City in week five would bode ill tidings. It ended up being the division tie breaker.

At least Dunberry is not done and buried yet!

Congrats to the Corsairs for the great push in the second half of the season.

Hmmm. Good question. I'm not predicting anyone in particular. But, I will say that I like Market City’s stellar defense and it's a toss up between Metropolis' and Dunberry's tremendous offenses. Should be interesting to see who makes it to the big dance.

I plan to post first round results sometime tomorrow evening. Stay tuned.

Ok. Just uploaded two new areas of the site...

Career Records and Past Seasons

That'll do it. It turned out to be a fantastic season. MAX is a fantastically fun engine for the fictional sports league hobby. Anyway, time to take a break from MFL action for now. Next, I'll be spending time enhancing my playbooks. I'll be placing 4th down situations in all of the ones I use. This really added some dramatic excitement to the Metro Bowl ending. It worked out better than I thought it would.

I'll be back in about a month or less to play out season 2.

Stay tuned.
