I guess I can have his gun now.

Arrgh, beat me to the punch, you!

I have frequently used this quote when referring to other topics "You can have my (Insert topic here) when you pry it from my cold dead hands!" The most recent use was over getting upgraded from XP to Vista

Well, you can have your vista, I'll keep my XP.

XP was what they had to pry from my cold dead hands. Vista is more of a virus than an operating system.

Then you'll be happy to know that MS has extended XP installation for new machines til 2010; after that, who knows.

Eddie Albert was in charge of a landing craft in the Pacific. I forget which battle he was interviewed about - IIRC either Tarawa or Kwajalein - but he gave a very memorable account of what he witnessed the Marines going through that day.

I can sit and watch Ben Hur all day.  His metamorphosis through so many different stages was fantastic.

Carefree Israeli Nobleman (somewhat)
Patriot
Slave
Roman Citizen
Athlete
Avenger
And finally a man at peace with his life.
