UV I like because the operational readiness rates of aircraft (and aircrews) in particular is much more reasonable. In vanilla WiTP, you can fly your bombers every day in the south pacific without significant crew fatigue or ops losses.

Ouch, I think this makes the game unplayable. At least for the Japanese.

what your game shows to me gentlemen, is the fact that you have to secure PM as the japanese player...hands down! i did it early in the war in every japanese game i had and i never regretted that. its simply easier to defend the south pacific without this allied spike in your flesh.

Hi all.

Yeah, to spare PM from taking was a experiment I never did before and certainly will never do again...

I was very very busy at work and much too lazy on this AAR recently. Will try to post the last two chapters (Irau and its aftermath + The final allied push) ASAP!

(pic shows RGIJN while finishing a "Turmknopf" - an adornment on top of a church´s tower we restored. Some major parts as the copper-made sphere are still genuine pieces from 1696. The gold plating and some forged parts are made new)

it is very high indeed (sometimes up to 90 Meters/300ft), but never too high! And there aren´t any... (safety ropes)

Even more fun is to mount such things with just a crane... see below
