Hi - I'm new to these forums, but have played lots of Paradox games, and am a pretty regular user of their forums. I really like the downloadability aspect of gaming online, and especially these forums - I know I can always count on some really good people to help me through a problem. (With these complicated games, there is always a problem...) Anyway, on the Matrix website is a Battle of Britain game that's available for download. Is that the new version of 12 O'Clock High- Bombing the Reich?, but just a version about the air-war prior to 1943? Is everyone here is waiting for the Eagle Day? Or is it something completely different? A little clarification would be great. Also - some guy on ebay has the old version listed for $129 (PLUS you have to pay 7.99 for shipping!) Is that what it goes for? I remember playing this game on my old computer that was too slow to handle all the data crunching and it would hang up, or start crawling. I got rid of it, gave it away, or something. Bottom line, it's gone. Are there any people here willing to sell it to me at a more reasonable price? At $129 I am willing to wait until 2010 for the new version. But I would pay $20 or so to get it right now... In any case, it's nice to be here and I look forward to getting to know some of you. My PhD program is winding down (Sociology, Oklahoma State) so I will have time to start playing more than I have recently. Thanks in advance - Jim Mason
