ORIGINAL: Dixie Drive by tithe Good afternoon chaps Hello Martin! How are things? Weather? I'm fine thanks, a little tired but not bad. The weather is still hot, although I'm starting to get acclimatised. The nights aren't too bad now, warmer than the day back home though I suspect. The daytime isn't too bad if I can avoid too much physical effort. However, when an aircraft comes back at lunchtime it still almost kills me It's taking about 3 hours to turn a jet arounf ready for flight again, and the closest I get to a rest in that time is refuelling it. How are things in Croatia old boy? EDIT: Sat in a coffee shop under an air conditiong unit using wireless internet. I can't stand the ac during the night though, I find it too cold.. Glad to hear that you are OK and things as good as they can be... I hope you learned not to tough hot aircraft parts (i.e. they cool down much much slower then in UK)... As for us here - weather in Croatia is very very hot and sunny last few days (above +33 degrees Centigrade) but today the cold front is approaching (it always happen on August 15th when we have national holiday of Blessed Mary) and temperature will drop 10 degrees...
