I did something this morning I never thought I'd do, I turned down the offer of a second interview. The main problem is that they want a systems monitoring package installing (a good and noble thing) to create alerts in the event of an outage. problem is, it's a one-man IT operation and I'm not prepared to be on call 24/365 for the money they're offering. It's a 24/7 operation so someone has to respond...

Thinking on it - there ARE rules, but they are the same as the forum rules: no politics, no religion, no trolling... the first two won't get too much of a reaction, (at least at first) but the third will get much more reaction than they will on the main WITP forum, i think.

So if I understand you correctly, you screwed up, and when you fixed the mistake, the computer screwed you. Is that about right? That computer/game engine/gremlin sure doesn't like you!
