If you can get vol 1 for only 80 Euro, you'll be fortunate indeed. I had to shovel out $320.00 US and that was the cheapest price i found even after a year of watching and waiting. (Not counting the "Brothers" website offer of $39.99 which turned out to be a hoax)

one site wants like 1600.00 but i think they're dreaming.

Herr Bergmann has published a more recent set that focuses on key aspects of the campaign. (basically a more condensed BC/RS) but after researching them i opted to go for the one and only originals. I wanted all the nitty gritty, not just summaries.

Eric, you can't help being French.  Maybe one day you'll learn to cope with your 'disability', but until then we're willing to help you manage

At least, you aren't from europe, right

As an englishman, i think Dixie is in Europe...but without being in it, but being a small part of it but not within.....;
Sorry, it's a bit of an old joke in France...it's coming as far as General De Gaulle.
I don't want to ignite any political debate here.....

When I was an exchange student in the UK in 1983, I was frequently and strongly advised by British students that they were not Europeans. I recall one young lady being most emphatic that "they were subjects, not citizens". Most of my British friends now refer to themselves as Europeans and as citizens. So I'm assuming that times have changed. And just for the record, I'm one American who loves British food. But also French,Scandanavian,German,Spanish,Portugese,Carribean,South American,Japanese,Korean........H'm, I starting to see a pattern here...

you forgot cajun which is good and tex-mex which is good and the best of all texas barbecue.

No , I didn't. I like Cajun, but can't handle spiceyness. Tone it down and I love it. That's why Thai's not on my list. Again, tone it down and it's great. Food's no fun if your taste buds get nuked on the 1st bite. Then you might as well be eating college food. Tex-mex is fine, but I perfer Real Mexican when I can get it. Sorry Bobo.

good cajun is not supposed to nuke the taste buds in the first bite. that is crappy cajun that the chef has to mask the fact that his food tastes like sh*t so he throws in a huge amount of hot spices to kill your taste buds so you don't notice.

Maybe, but I've had it in some well regarded places in New Orleans, and I've always found it too spicey. Only when I've had it in private homes there was it cooled off enough. OK, I'll admit it, I'm a wimp when it comes to spicey hot food.

Food should be tasty not painful. If I'm sweating or my nose is running chances are I'm edging towards pain. Having said that, I do love spicy food (except for that blackened cajun, um, stuff).

I love a good, medium spiced salsa. In fact I have quite a salsa "problem."

So, one of Denmark's two big TV stations just posted the following poll question on their website:

"Did Michael Jackson clone himself?"

So far, 413 people have responded to this question, and of these, 13% answered "yes", and 9% answered "I hope so".

In total, 22% of respondents (roughly 88 persons) have responded thusly, and must now be killed. Excuse me while I track down their IP addresses and physical locations, and go on a killing spree.

Same here was a problem on the 4th. Didn't eat much but I must have killed a bag or two of tostitos and a couple of quarts of picante. I was feeling very regular the next day.

88 people is just a start. There's a lot more of the aluminum-foil-wearing brigade than you think.
